Music

The Music Ministry of Palm Coast United Methodist Church offers opportunities for God's people to join together in song, in worship and service to our Lord, Jesus Christ.  We invite you to become a part of our music ministry by your participation in one or more of our many musical ensembles. No musical training or knowledge is necessary, simple a heart to make music to the Lord.

Chancel Choir

The Chancel Choir rehearses on Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Music Suite from September through May. They perform during both Sunday morning traditional worship services. 

Contemporary Worship Team

The Praise & Worship Team rehearses on Thursday evenings from 4:30 to 6:30pm in the Sanctuary. They lead worship for the Contemporary Service at 10:00am on Sunday mornings. Handbell Choir

The Handbell Choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary from September through May. They perform on the 2nd Sunday of each month plus additional services when scheduled. Please contact either Page Long or Yvette Bynum at the church office 386-445-1600.

The Voices of Faith

The Voices of Faith the newest group to our Music Ministry. It is fun & energetic gospel choir led by Yvette Bynum. If you love gospel music please consider joining the Voives of Faith. They rehearse on Monday nights from 5:00pm - 6pm. 

Instrumentalists

If you play an instrument and are interested in sharing please contact Paige Long or Yvette Bynum our Co-Music Directors for rehearsal times and to schedule participation in worship services.

Palm Coast Chamber Players

The orchestra in residence at PCUMC, presents afternoon concerts, as well as assists in leading worship during select traditional services on Sunday mornings.  In addition, they provide the musical accompaniment for our Music Ministry special events such as our Lenten cantata on Good Friday and our Christmas concert - the Christmas portion of Handel's Messiah.  Directed by Paige Long, the Palm Coast Chamber Players is an ensemble comprised of highly trained musicians from Central Florida.  Typically they perform with strings, winds and harpsichord and instrumentation is expandable to meet the needs of the repertoire to be performed.  

Concert Series

Is an outreach ministry dedicated to the community.  The series presents programs of sacred, classical, jazz and popular music for the enjoyment, education and personal enrichment of the greater Palm Coast community.
